About Us
Directors
Robbie and Chanda Bourgeois, Directors, along with Roger Fitzpatrick and Helen Garnica, Co-Directors, lead Watchman's Wall House of Prayer. Through a radical encounter with God on December 28 and 29, 2008, in a small group setting, we knew He was calling us to something specific. Pursuing Him through prayer and fasting, we began to see His plan. He confirmed the call to the "WALL" of intercession in March of 2009.
Watchman's Wall House of Prayer operates with the heart of the tabernacle of David, moving toward establishing a center of 24/7 prayer and worship with fasting and intercession.
Welcome
According to the Word of God, we as believers and followers of Jesus Christ are called to pray, to fast, and to unite in faith so we see the Kingdom of God come and the Will of God be done in earth as it is in heaven (Matt. 6: 9-18). With this desire in mind, we would like to introduce you to Watchman’s Wall House of Prayer (WWHOP). It is a place where the Spirit of God dwells and a place where the Bride of Christ is dedicated to interceding according to instruction given in the Word. It is a place where, we believe, God is going to equip believers to establish intercession and worship 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Luke 2:36-38 speaks of Anna who served in the temple day and night with prayer and fasting. It is this faithfulness we desire WWHOP to reflect in the harp and bowl format spoken of in Revelation 5:8.
WWHOP is open for those willing to come seek the face of God and intercede for what is on HIS heart. We know, however, to fulfill the call of 24/7 intercession and worship, God is going to be stirring the hearts of many believers to join us. In a single week, to have 24 hours of intercession and worship, there is a need for 84, 2-hour time slots to be covered. This sort of need, we know, will require the power and hand of God to fulfill because there are very few church communities who could fulfill such a need within themselves…which is the point. God the Father is looking to bring His Body-His Bride, together from all denominations to seek His face.
The heart and intent of Watchman’s Wall House of Prayer is NOT to take the place of church and the fellowship of believers in one’s church body.
We would like to invite you, your families, and your friends to join us at the prayer room. Nursery services will be available. Check the calendar for dates and times.
Blessings and Shalom,
WWHOP Directors
How Did It Begin?
December 29, 2008 we had a God encounter like none ever experienced. In the visitation, angels were seen whose names God revealed as Samuel and Ethan, prophetic words came forth, four hours seemed like four minutes in which time lives were changed, including our own. The Spirit of God turned our lives upside down. After the encounter, four of us began to seek the Lord, fasting and praying together often multiple times each week. January 14, 2009, in a time of prayer, He spoke the words you are four runners and then clarified it to be forerunners. We continued to seek Him as to what He meant by forerunners. Through a series of God encounters and events over the next month, He began to clarify that we were to carry the torch that was given ten years earlier to the pastor of our church for a house of prayer.
Our Mandate
Leviticus 6:13, Fire shall be kept burning continually (day and night) on the altar. It is not to go out.
We are called to live radical Levitical lifestyles. We are called to immerse ourselves in prayer, fasting, worship, and intercession. The Watchman’s Wall House of Prayer will operate in the forerunner spirit submitting to God as prophetic messengers. We will gather corporately to fast and pray in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David*. We desire to touch the realm of God; to live fascinated by His beauty; to be filled with marvel, awe and wonder; to live exhilarated with God as lovesick Intercessors and worshippers.
We believe and see evidence that God is sovereignly raising up a worldwide prayer movement.
This prayer movement is a worship movement which is also a prophetic movement. Prayer, worship, and prophecy are all expressions of the Holy Spirit. We will move in the flow of the Holy Spirit set as watchmen on the wall to carry out His End-time purposes.
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace (be silent) day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and ….makes Jerusalem a praise on the earth. (Isa. 62:6-7)
Anna…a widow of about 84 years, did not depart from the temple, but SERVED GOD WITH FASTINGS AND PRAYERS NIGHT AND DAY…(Luke 2:37).
We desire God’s justice come forth:
“……shall not God bring about JUSTICE for His elect, who cry to Him day and night…? I tell you that He will bring about JUSTICE FOR THEM SPEEDILY….” (Luke 18:7-8; NAS)
Examples of God’s justice that make wrong things right:
-
Healing: God’s judgment on sickness is manifestation of healing power
-
Revival: God’s judgment on compromise is seen as the Church is revived.
-
Soul Winning: God’s judgment on the kingdom of darkness is seen when thousands of new converts come to Jesus.
-
End-Time judgments: the book of Revelation reveals God judgments against the Antichrist’s systems that do evil and oppress the righteous.
-
Righteous legislation: God’s judgment on unrighteous laws including abortion, etc.
-
Unity (reconciliation): God’s judgment on division (family, society, Church)
-
Holiness: God’s judgment on sin, anger, pornography, drugs and rebellion.
We desire God’s power be released to bring about salvation and joyful transformation for His return.
“…I will…make them joyful in My house of prayer…for MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER for all nations” (Isa. 56:7)
